About Me

I'm grotesquely domesticated. I love all things about being a godly homemaker {except cleaning house, can you relate?}. I'm a stay at home wife in a now-empty nest. I love to cook and try new recipes as well as coming up with my own. Canning/freezing/dehydrating the fruits of my garden are worth all the sweat spent planting/weeding. I love sewing and making crafts. My favorites are primitives. I love to embroider and crochet. I love re-doing/re-purposing furniture. Most things I do, I've taught myself. This isn't a bad thing. I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world. We have 3 kids and 2 grands. We live on a small 10 acre farm. We have dogs, cats, chickens, and goats. I can't imagine life being any better. We are truly blessed!
